The Harvard College Data Analytics Group has partnered with governments and NGOs fighting COVID-19 to recruit Crisis Response Teams of 3 to 4 students to assist our partner organizations in their work in this challenging time. We are looking for a diverse group of students with a variety of skills, such as modeling (from linear regression to machine learning models), visualization (static and interactive), consulting, data journalism, and more. Students from all backgrounds are encouraged to join.
Some of our projects include
- Working with the World Health Organization to visualize the impact of governmental interventions on slowing the spread of the virus.
- Helping the International Monetary Fund predict the economic impact of COVID-19.
- Assisting the City Government of Denver to allocate medical supplies effectively using data modeling.
