I am currently a master’s student at the Harvard Extension School, where my thesis is focused on the ethical uses and implications of machine learning. My research interests lie at the intersection of moral philosophy and computer science, which I hope will continue to encourage discussions around using technology to the benefit of society. I also run a data science consulting company which I started in 2014, helping startups make key technological decisions.
I was previously a software engineer in a variety of data-centric startups. I completed a B.Sc. in physics and mathematics from the University of Maryland, during which time I interned at both the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center and CERN
