Jenny Chen is interested in understanding evolution and the genetic basis of innate animal behaviors. Her research is at the intersection of computational genomics, evolutionary biology, and animal ethology. Currently, Jenny is working to identify the genetic differences mediating variation in parental care behaviors across different species of Peromyscus mice.

Jenny received her PhD in Bioinformatics and Integrative Genomics from MIT, where she was advised by Professor Aviv Regev.
