Pierre has graduated from Université Paris-Dauphine in 2012, then worked at the National University of Singapore in 2012-2013, the University of Oxford in 2013-2015, and at Harvard since 2015. Pierre works on the development of statistical and computational methods, for time series analysis, state space and agent-based models, sampling algorithms, couplings of Markov chains, probabilistic modeling in the Bayesian framework and beyond. The overarching aim of his research is to help scientists to calibrate complex probabilistic models using all available data and to quantify the associated uncertainties as accurately and honestly as possible.
