Sophie Woodward is a fourth-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Biostatistics at Harvard University, advised by Dr. Francesca Dominici. Her research lies at the intersection of causal inference and spatial statistics, with applications in environmental health. She is currently working on developing methods to address unmeasured spatial confounding. She was awarded the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship in 2022 and joined the National Studies of Air Pollution and Health (NSAPH) research group in 2021.
