Gifts to the Directors’ Fund will be strategically deployed to develop data science as a research tool and a scholarly discipline. These resources may be deployed as seed grants to fund data science research projects and collaborations, support data science postdoctoral research fellows, fund information sharing at symposia and conferences, support other internal and external collaborations, and fund research programs for undergraduate and graduate students.
